Bio

Brad is a distinguished creator in the timepiece and smartwatch industry, shaped by his education at Arizona State University's renowned industrial design program, ranked among the top 5 by US News and World Report during his tenure. As a leader within the program, he co-chaired the student IDSA, showcasing his commitment to excellence. Graduating with a 3.3 GPA, Brad's dedication was evident in the program's rigorous standards, where only a select few emerged from a class initially comprising 200 freshmen to just 20 graduating seniors.

Post-graduation, Brad embarked on a journey that took him across continents, starting in Texas where he honed his skills with Fossil and a portfolio of globally recognized brands. Brad achieved growth from junior to senior designer in just 2 and a half years. His career trajectory led him to France in 2005, where he served as the lead timepiece and eyewear designer at Quiksilver, gaining invaluable international experience and basic French.

Feeling the pull of home, Brad returned to the States, assuming roles of increasing responsibility, including design manager and later Creative Director at Vestal Group, one of Southern California's fastest-growing companies at the time. In 2009, he joined Movado Group in the New York-New Jersey tri-state area, collaborating with iconic brands such as Coach, as the in house timepiece designer in manhattan, as well as designs for Movado and their license brand. 

Texas beckoned once more, and Brad answered the call, rejoining Fossil Group. Under his design leadership, the brand experienced remarkable growth, particularly with the Fossil fashion watch line and his leadership in the launch of the Fossil Swiss line. His tenure also included spearheading the innovative smartwatch launch in 2014, showcasing his adaptability to emerging technologies.

After a decade of pioneering wearable technology and high-end Swiss-made products, Brad is poised for new challenges, eagerly exploring opportunities in both permanent and freelance capacities. Outside of work, Brad and his wife indulge in their passion for travel, skiing, backpacking, and surfing. Their adventurous spirit has led them to live across the mountain West, West Coast, East Coast, Texas, and France, with extensive stays in Switzerland, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, enriching both their personal and professional experiences.
